DIODE & IPL LASER HAIR REMOVAL
DIODE & IPL HAIR REMOVAL
Say Good Bye to unwanted Hair! My medical grade laser hair removal machines will reduce Hair by 98% its a quick & pain free procedure!
Melanin in the hair follicle absorbs light and coverts it into heat energy, which destroys the hair root so that it wont grow back!
You might be wondering what the difference is between Diode Laser and IPL (intense Pulse light) let me explain, both Diode and IPL are both effective methods of hair removal.
My triple-wave diode uses 3 wavelengths of light that has a high abruption rate in melanin. As it heats up it destroys the root and blood flow to the follicle disabling hair growth.
IPL uses a broad spectrum of light with many wavelengths, IPL is only safe for lighter skin tones and more sessions are typically required.
Both Diode & IPL can only target hair follicles when they are in their growth phase. On average, you can expect a 10-25% reduction in current hair growth per Diode or IPL hair removal treatment session.
Both Diode and IPL can be effective for hair removal!
Laser hair removal leads to permanent hair reduction for majority of clients. Once the hair is effectively destroyed, it cannot grow back. However, the body can sometimes produce a few new hairs in the treatment area which we then can remove with a 'top-up' session
Sessions are typically spaced between 4-10 weeks apart depending on area being treated.
It is recommended to complete a course of hair removal sessions to get the best results.
The duration of each session depends on the area being treated, smaller areas like the upper lip can take just a few minutes, while larger areas like legs will take longer.
For most areas, laser hair removal is extremely comfortable with not much more than a warm tingling sensation on the skin. Areas with higher sensitivity (such as intimate areas) can feel a little more prickly, but not painful, both my Diode and IPL medical grade laser machines features an advanced cooling system that cools the skin as it treats, significantly increasing comfort.
Book in for a skin test to see how it feels for yourself!
There are some temporary side effects like erythema/redness that are common but usually subside within a few hours.
It is advisable to avoid sun exposure or tanning beds before treatment for optimal results as laser hair removal is generally less effective on tanned or recently sun-exposed skin and doesn't give optimal results.
Consultation needs to be booked at least 72 hours before to check suitability for treatment & to be skin tested)
